UNDERSLAB PLUMBING/DRAINAGE REPAIRS

There are two options for underslab drainage repair:

• Access under slab sanitary drain lines via tunnel and replace or repair piping and fixture connections, follow existing routes. All repaired or replaced under slab piping is supported by installing galvanized clevis hangers and all thread rod to the existing slab, ensuring no movement of piping during backfill.

• Access sanitary drain lines or fixture connections and reroute by means of a new yard line around the exterior of a structure, tie into the existing yard line or sewer tap through wall penetration. Wall penetration may be used in this method by rerouting kitchen and washer drainage below the above-slab P-traps through exterior walls and tying into the yardline. The remaining unused sanitary drain lines are is then capped and abandoned.
